There are so many things we can’t do right now, social isolation is tough (particularly for extraverts). But if we focus on what we can’t do, we let that cloud our mindset and alter our outlook. It prevents us from realising all the things we still can do.
After all, isn’t “I don’t have time” the biggest complaint in the modern world?! Well, consider that excuse now null and void. We have all been given the gift of time. The most previous gift we could ever receive really. So how will you spend yours?
Listening to beautiful music, getting your hands dirty in the garden, playing with animals, cooking up a storm, playing cards & board games, learning how to meditate, expressing yourself creatively; writing, drawing, colouring, painting. Learning a language or a musical instrument.
AND of course, reading!
You all know I’m a big book nerd, a proud #selfhelpjunkie if you will. I have put to together some of the most powerful life-changing books that I have come across, so that you can spend this down-time reconnecting within and expanding your mind.
