what is life coaching?
Life Coaching Services Your life defines you, as you define it. But too many of us believe that life can be assembled like a table from Ikea. This part goes here, that part goes there, put this thing on top – et viola! You have yourself a fully functioning adult. Or a new table. Whatever Or maybe you just let life kind of happen to you. Like when you’re out swimming and forget... Read More »
my story
Back when I was climbing the ultra-glossy corporate ladder… I was working in some pretty brag-worthy jobs. Public relations, fashion buyer and people management were all roles that worked to pump up my CV and self-esteem. I was a classic case of a Gen Y girl who looked like she had it all, but was somehow feeling disconnected from myself and what I really, really wanted. Cue staring... Read More »
why wait?
It's no secret that I love goal-setting. So as long as I've been setting goals, I have always said I want to go to Africa, volunteer and do a safari. It's always been a 10 year goal of mine . . . but 7 years have now gone by since I first set that goal, and the goal keeps getting pushed out. Instead of it getting closer, and becoming a shorter-term goal, I keep pushing it back, keeping it... Read More »
change, growth + evolution
Happy first day of  S P R I N G !!! There has been so many wonderful changes happening lately. I have been devoting much more of my time and energy to Love Your Life since I cut down to part-time with my day job. This was such a scary move for me to make, and those that tuned into the Fear Webinar would know it was one riddled with FEAR! But it  was necessary and well overdue. See... Read More »
fresh starts
For the first time in 30 years I am moving into my very own apartment! After reviewing my tolerations last month, I set my goal for August: 'To sign a lease and create a home for myself, by August 20th'. Even though it wasn't  my original one year goal of buying my own property, it will still be my home none the less. I have never lived alone before, and I can't tell you how excited I am... Be Inspired – part #1
I'm floating on a cloud. I have just returned home from a fabulous evening - the first session of the BE INSPIRED workshops. Emma Palmer lead an incredible session on the ancient Yoga principles and how they can apply to creating our life vision and purpose. We were lead through a deep, powerful meditation that really opened up our minds and hearts. It is the perfect place to now lead... Read More »
I was here
Sometimes music just hits the nail on the head, and more often than not, it's a song that I need to hear. I am crushing goals right now, travelling on an amazing adventure with my twin sister to celebrate our 30th birthdays (more on that later!). On one long leg of our flight the other day, a song came on that made me sit bolt upright and pay full attention - in fact, i had to listen to... Read More »

“This was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The coaching came during a challenging period and helped me to look beyond my current circumstances, redefine my sense of who I am and envision what I wanted in my future.  Julia helped me to identify and define my values which now guide all my decisions. I discovered my strengths and unique gifts that I have to contribute. Reclaiming these qualities gave me the opportunity to see myself in a completely different, more confident and self assured light.  I would highly recommend coaching with Julia. She is the best listener, life cheerleader and guide I’ve experienced.”

Laura Trimble-Thompson

“Simple, clear and insightful.  Julia’s coaching is all of this and more.  My goals and aspirations are so much clearer thanks to Julia’s Workshops on my recent yoga Retreat.  I designed my life Vision and now feel empowered and confident in my daily life choices to achieve that vision.”
