the simple life
I re-wrote my goals last week. I edited, scratched out, and stripped them right back to the core. God, it felt so liberating! Instead of setting multiple goals in each area of my life, I just stuck to ONE. One personal, one health, one career. The most important goal to me. The ONE goal that if I DID NOT have, all the other's would feel empty and meaningless. I got really clear that... Read More »
summer reflections
Well apparently it's officially Autumn now in Melbourne, yet an indian summer seems to be prevailing. . . and I'm not complaining. I'm going to squeeze every last drop out of this summer that I can! Oh how I missed the Australian summer while living overseas. It's been wonderful to be back home to experience my favourite season. So before the leaves start to drop and the warmer layers need... my vision
I had some great me-time last week. I took my old life vision, pulled it apart and fleshed it out. I got clear on the details. It felt so real, I could almost taste it. It was so refreshing! I get so much inspiration from doing this. It gives me clarity, excitement and a sense of drive that I've chosen that life, I get to create it. The whole point of doing Vision & Goals is to move... stretching mind & body
Wow our VISION + VINYASA event this weekend was incredible! On behalf of Jenny Clark and I, THANK YOU so much to all that came on down to participate in the workshop. We are so grateful to you. Together, we stretched our minds and bodies. You really gave your all to the work, a truly inspiring group. We love what we do, and it was so special to be able to share our passions with you. I... ’tis the season to celebrate goals!
As another year draws to an end, it naturally becomes a time in our lives for reflection. Is it just me, or do the years actually speed up every year? I'm sure they do, there must be some logical explanation, like the earth must rotate at increasing speed or something. . . how is it less than 5 days till Christmas already?! And because the time goes by so quickly, and we lead our lives... Read More »
bush medicine
I have just returned home from a lovely little bush getaway. Just me, my best friend, her gorgeous little bubba and the countryside. We packed the car and hit the road - venturing into Victoria's beautiful Yarra Valley - full of rolling green hills, vineyards, orchards and fresh country air. As soon as I left town, and the first glimpse of bush was in sight, I wound down my window and... Read More »
take me to the ocean
I love the beach. It's my refuge. The ocean has an intense healing effect on me. Living up in the Canadian mountains for the past year has made me realise just how important the ocean is to me. I now have a deeper appreciation for all things sandy and salty. Yesterday I walked along the beach for two hours, shoes in hand, feet in the shallows, strolling along in the sunshine. I love... fear of being left behind?
Today I realised that I can count all my single friends on one hand. Talk about a wake-up call. Wow, when did that happen? Slowly but surely, my circle of friends has partnered off, one by one, and are now either engaged or married. That's to be expected as you enter your thirties, that's the way life goes doesn't it? It's been such a beautiful thing to witness and be part of these... Read More »
the roller coaster of life
It’s been so nice to be home. I've spent the last few weeks spending time with my family, catching up with old friends (and their new babies!), soaking up the fresh ocean air, practicing yoga and celebrating my best friends wedding. The excitement of all these things has been juxtaposed with the news that my closest Aunty has lung cancer. I found this out the day I left Canada. I was... Read More »
home sweet home
I am Australia bound in T-minus 2 days! It's been a year and a half since I've seen my loved ones - the longest time I've ever been away. It's certainly been hard at times - home-sickness has definitely reared its uncomfortable head. But for the most part, it's been fantastic, and I'm extremely proud of how well I've adapted to life abroad. But it's time, it's time to pay a visit to my... Read More »

“Jules has the ability to listen like you wish your mother would. She lets ideas flow organically and ultimately leaves you wanting to tell her things you may not have otherwise told yourself. Identifying what lights people up is what Jules lives for, it is infectious and she will change the world by doing what she loves, and hopefully allow you to see you can do the same.”

Julie Cassettari

“When I started coaching with Julia I was a little sceptical, but decided that it was worth investing in MYSELF. Boy am I glad that I did! With Julia’s support and encouragement I can honestly say my life has changed. I have a very clear vision for my future, which I never thought I would have. I feel so excited for what’s to come! Julia is amazing, she is a great coach, you can’t help but feel awesome after speaking with her. Thank you for all you have helped me achieve. I look forward to continuing working with you!”
